Introducing Alongside. Find faithful Christian businesses, sharpen your craft, and keep your resources within Christendom. This is much more than pins on a map—we're building a place to labor alongside brothers, to build coalition outside of our tradition, and recover our shared inheritance of Christian excellence.

We're reading through Nehemiah during family worship, and this verse really struck me. May we remember the Lord's faithfulness, build the wall, and fight for our people when our enemies rise up.
“Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.” — Nehemiah 4:14
God didn't make men to build alone. But modern work has become isolating, remote, and transactional. Today's men are unmoored from accountability and brotherhood.
Alongside aims to change that—bringing men together to build the Christian economy shoulder to shoulder. This is not a marketplace where men come to be served; it is a table where men come to serve and be sharpened.

Your name means something—it's not only your reputation, but one that carries from generation to generation. Build a name worth inheriting.
By and large, today's culture rejects the biblical principle of leaving an inheritance—replacing it with selfish hedonism, and aiming to "die with zero."
However, a man's work doesn't end with his own hand. Everything we build is ultimately a deposit made to our children's children. Business. Covenant faithfulness. Reputation. And craft.
We're building for our son's sons, aiming to leave a legacy of Christian excellence that lives on long after our names are forgotten. Christian fathers must plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in. All to the glory of God.

The rest of Christ is not merely a vague inner feeling or a spiritual experience detached from the physical. Christ did not come to destroy nature or the commandments of God—but to fulfill them and bring blessing to His people.
To honor the Sabbath is to confess with our calendars that Jesus Christ is Lord of our time, our labor, and our businesses. We honor and trust His design, knowing the creational rhythm of rest was established in the Creator’s example.
Shut the laptop, lock the till, gather with the saints tomorrow, feast, and enter the rest that He has purchased for His people.
Given recent conversations here on X, we thought we’d share a section of our manifesto directly:
XII. Honoring the Sabbath
The Lord's Day is not a productivity opportunity. It is rooted in the fourth commandment and in the very pattern of creation: God made the world in six days and rested on the seventh—not because He grows weary, but to set a rhythm for His creatures. He commands us to do the same: “you, and your son, and your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, your livestock, and the sojourner who is within your gates.” The Sabbath is His appointed boundary on our labor, a weekly reminder that our time, our bodies, our households, and our businesses are not our own.
Closing the shop on the Lord's Day is not only an act of obedience, but also a statement to all who have eyes to see. We trust in the Lord for provision and blessing—not in the wisdom and planning of man. We lay down our tools because God has spoken, and we trust His promises: that it will go well with us and that He will multiply us, as He swore to our fathers.
He calls us to a holy resting in Him, setting aside common activities and labor so that we and those under our care might worship, remember His works, fellowship with the saints, and taste the coming rest. As we honor His day in faith, He is not subtracting from our provision; He is teaching us that man does not live by bread alone. We believe that the God who commanded six days of labor and one of rest is able to do more with our six than we could ever wring from seven.
Excellence takes work, dedication, and sacrifice. But it's essential to the Christian work ethic. Roll up your sleeves, and build with intention.
We’re not chasing the “Christian business” label. We’re pursuing excellence—work that tells the truth, embodies beauty, and seeks good for customers, craftsmen, and communities alike.
When a carpenter builds a chair to last a century, when a designer makes something genuinely beautiful, when a man keeps his word at cost to himself, he’s making a claim about reality and bears witness to the character of our God. Every time we choose excellence over novelty and the slow path over shortcuts, we’re building cathedrals—even when the work is small.

More and more, Christian households are searching for local businesses that align with their values. From marketing to masonry, it's difficult to find skilled Christians in your area. Alongside is hoping to change that—with search that prioritizes local businesses. Our interactive map quickly shows proximity, and search allows you to drill down by confession, services, and more.

Christians have spent far too long funding our own opposition. For generations, our hard-earned resources have gone to corporations who hate our God and His Word. Retailers, tech platforms, and banks that openly celebrate the very evils we oppose.
Alongside is setting out to help build the parallel economy of Christendom. Not one that hides or retreats, but one that gains ground. Built on covenantal trust, God's design, and a distinctly Christian culture. An economy that blesses its people and place, to a thousand generations.

250 years ago, our forefathers risked their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to found this great nation. Today, we honor that inheritance, and the righteous men who labored to build it. May God continue to bless this land, to a thousand generations.
Happy 250th Independence Day!
