I use Claude Cowork as a PM and OpenClaw as an indie hacker.
they solve completely different problems:
Cowork:
beautiful UI inside claude desktop
great for docs, research, analysis
connects to Drive, Gmail, Slack
you open it when you need it
OpenClaw:
self-hosted on a Mac mini, runs 24/7
any AI model (Claude, GPT, Gemini)
lives in my Discord, deploys code, manages sheets, controls a browser
crosses platforms in one flow
Cowork is a smart coworker you visit at their desk.
OpenClaw is a cofounder that never sleeps.
different tools, different modes of work.
is there actually a way to stop GPT from randomly ending a conversation when using @openclaw ?
what are people actually using to code nowadays?
not the model. the platform.
cursor?
vs code?
antigravity?
conductor?
claude desktop?
codex?
warp?
raw terminal?
this might be the comeback from openai + openclaw.
you can now generate images using gpt-image-2 with your openai oauth.
just made an instagram post while walking.
no extra api key needed.
i can’t believe i’m building a to-do list in 2026.
but i couldn’t find a single good free one that works with CLI + MCP.
all i needed:
something openclaw can use
something claude coword can connect to
nothing.
so here we are.
building a to-do list. in 2026.
wouldn’t it be nice if AI progress stopped right here?
our jobs still matter
building is still fun
ai images already look insanely good
and most importantly, it still feels like a tool
not the other way around 😅
