more trans ppl need to get involved in healthcare because i’ve never seen a trans person at any of the gender clinics i’ve went to and i think that’s a huge problem as to why the care we receive is mediocre at best

This chapter really recontextualized how I viewed the okama honestly. While they still do look like trans caricatures, I think it says a lot that Ivankov can give them hormones, yet they choose not to, as they look how they want, and aren’t afraid to do so. They have self-love.
