Someone should start a polymarket on whether my new company will be worth $1b+ within the next 5 years 😂

I’m not going to watch The Social Reckoning, but let me share a fun story about seeing The Social Network when I worked at Facebook back in the day
At an all-hands, Zuck said he initially didn’t want to watch it—but if he was going to, we’d all watch it together
So the whole company saw the movie together in a rented out theatre
Afterwards we threw an impromptu company party across several bars in Palo Alto
There’s a throwaway scene in the movie where the Sean Parker character first meets Mark. Sean asks Eduardo’s girlfriend what she wants to drink. She wants an appletini
Sean then says: “Appletinis all around!”
After the movie, I was standing next to Zuck at the party and asked him: “wouldn’t it be funny if we ordered appletinis?”
Zuck loved the idea. A hilarious way to toast to an incredibly inaccurate movie
So with my best Justin Timberlake as Parker impression, I told the bartender: “Appletinis all around!”
And so this is one of my favorite photos from my time at Facebook

Between gigs, not between builds.
For the next month: what I build with AI and what breaks. so far: A job-search agent, an Ollama benchmark, a dev-tool grader, and a dashboard for my puppy and I.
I used to break things on purpose for a living. Follow along. #buildinpublic

If your company refers to engineers as the IT department, you have nothing to worry about. You were already breached last week.

AI made building software easier than ever. Getting it to actually work inside a business? That's a different story.
Today we're launching @terminalio AI.
A forward deployed engineering team that builds, deploys, and scales AI systems inside real businesses.
More is possible. 🚀

Perhaps the threat was never a rogue AI agent trying to subvert humans—but humans using AI to hurt other humans.

Living in Miami is a great place to lock in. Whatever your vice is, the highest quality is in abundance here. That desensitises you and makes you realise “hmm yea this isn’t that great actually”. The end result is you completely stop dopamine chasing and just grind instead.

Today’s PHP security risks got me thinking about how I could have been more vulnerable with you. Perhaps we can patch things up and be there 4 one another.

Phone-use is cool, but do you know what’s cooler? No-phone-use.

I'm fucking back.
After years of building consumer apps, and the incredible privilege I had working with Aave and Polymarket... did you really think I was going to AI?
I think access to markets has been solved, Robinhood put the exchange in your pocket, and prediction markets make damn near everything tradable.
Participation is the next big problem.
We're not going to build another trading terminal. I think about TikTok, X and Netflix. Something you open because you expect to find an experience worth your time.
The app that you open every single day, hence the name.
So what actually is Daily?
Today we’re rolling out @dailyfun
We're making markets ridiculously fun to play, and we're just getting started.
