After three years, we made the call to wind down @BandoCool. We launched three products and had users in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Nigeria, the Philippines and beyond. We spent every day on a problem I still believe is one of the most important in emerging markets: how people and businesses save, pay and move money. Stablecoins are already changing that, and I’m more bullish than ever about this industry. I’m leaving this chapter extremely proud, with more lessons and experiences than I can count. The clearest lesson: fear is the mind killer. As a founder, you must pick one thing to be stubborn and brave about, and let everything else change. I want to thank everyone who supported us on this journey. Our users, the community we built, our team, my co-founders, our investors, and anyone who was part of our story, even in a small way. These have been the most transformative three years of my life, and I come out of them energized. Someone is going to build the stablecoin bank emerging markets need, and I can’t wait to see it.
