This is why I do, what I do, when I do it! The time is 00.40 and out of the darkness at Melton emerges @ColasRailUK 37175. A chat with the driver, who checks the chap I was with last time isn't waiting at the crossing, then thunders away. You can't beat that! 612 on back.

Went for a walk down Littlehampton seafront this afternoon and saw this bus at the railway station.

Hmm. I'm not sure that this is a @Se_Railway train eh @SteveWhiteRail? Guess because it's an article on the railway, any train will do, but a Shinkansen?

The Tories back up to 24%. Jesus. The British public is like a dog that's been kicked by the same bloke for fourteen years, yet still runs to the door when it hears his car.
And Labour, sort yourselves out.
I have my winter flu jab booked in 27 days. I have a feeling that will be about 35 days late. Currently shaking and rattling and overheating like a poorly maintained 16yo E200🥶🧑🍳🥵

Patrick was one of those icons who we somehow all took for granted would always be with us.
I grew up as a fan, and was later gifted the privilege of becoming a colleague and friend, working with him for many years on “American Dad!”, “Family Guy”, and “Ted”. He was that rare actor who could take any bit of dialogue and elevate it, making a good writer sound great, and a great writer sound masterful. He was also as humble as they come. I remember exchanging emails with him a number of years ago when he was beginning day 1 of a new film. He commented to me that he always walked onto a new set feeling like the biggest novice there. My stunned reaction was the same as anyone’s would be. I said, “Patrick, if you feel that way, the rest of us are screwed.” We have lost a legendary actor today, and for many of us, a good friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire planet.

No estaba.
I'm sure the folk choosing between eating and heating this winter will be comforted to know their MP has his finger on the pulse of the real issues. Dear God.......
