What Remains Unsaid transient.xyz/mint/what-rema… The work changes according to the viewer’s location, responding to the current season where they are. The seasons can also be entered manually, allowing the viewer to move the flower between spring, summer, autumn and winter at will by typing the season name. Seasons pass without announcement, colour fades and returns, growth gives way to decay... and the cycle begins again. The flower becomes a way of expressing those transitions without language; reflecting how time, memory and emotion can alter gradually, often before we have found the words for them. What Remains Unsaid exists somewhere between permanence and change.

Gm anniversary! 🎉 8 years ago today, 21 Oct 2018, I opened #CryptoDisruption: The Art of Blockchain at the Dundas Street Gallery in Edinburgh. I'd started working on the paintings late 2017, my first foray into creating crypto-themed art. The exhibition featured 12 oil paintings, each incorporating AR videos exploring my early understanding of the emerging crypto space. What an incredible journey it's been! I've experienced the fingernail-biting highs and lows, from the early days with crypto trading (badly!) and pre NFT art platforms, to everything that's happened since. And through it all, I still find this space as inspiring as I did back then. And even with all the drama and controversy, I've come to accept that it's all part of the journey. It is what it is, and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Although, having been 'cancelled' 2 or 3 times in the early days, I've definitely got a lot more grey hair to show for it! 😅 I've always considered myself a painter first and foremost but Web3 has opened my mind to possibilities I could never have imagined. It's given me opportunities to explore, experiment, collaborate and push my creative practice in directions I never would have dreamed! Perhaps most importantly, it's introduced me to an incredible community of artists, collectors, technologists, builders and visionaries, all exploring what the next frontier of art, tech and immersive experiences might look like. So thanks to all of you for riding along with me on this rollercoaster! 🙏 After all this time, I'm still learning and just as excited about what's possible. Here's to the next eight years. Can't wait to see where this journey takes us all! 🚀🎨

Warning, to those who do find the floppy disks. Expect clues throughout the day. 💾
Chronically Online is going offline for Marfa! I am excited to announce that three floppy disks with my artwork on them will be hidden in Marfa this year. Three different artworks, each finder deciding how the work is minted. 💾
