People calling him stupid don't realize that his death was entirely out of his control

Are we really supposed to believe the Rebel Alliance in Star Wars is the good guys? Leia is cornered for only 5 seconds before she's willing to blow up the remote planet of Dantooine (a completely defenseless frontier world populated by peaceful grain farmers, families, and simple pioneers who don't even know a war is happening), all to save the biggest state sponsor of intergalactic terror that's Alderaan. Sorry, I'm just not buying it. The math doesn't add up, and frankly, the Alliance is a terrorist cell. Open your eyes.

Me acaban de decir en una entrevista textualmente: “El sueldo es bajo porque es simbólico. No buscamos gente que venga por un sueldo, sino por el compromiso” 💀

How much garbage do you have to throw to make it appear a road you can walk on?
The massacres in Cambodia are still not known very well today by the general populace.
The only reason Chum Mey survived is because the Communist Party needed a typewriter fixed.
In October 1978, the Khmer Rouge arrested the Cambodian mechanic and took him to S-21. A torture prison converted from a former high school.
They accused him of spying for the CIA and the KGB. The only problem was that he had never heard of either one.
For twelve days they beat him, broke his fingers, pulled out his toenails with pliers and shocked him with electricity until he confessed.
But then a typewriter broke.
The guards needed someone who could fix it. Chum Mey was the only one around who could.
He fixed the sewing machines next. And then the water pump. He worked as slowly as he dared. Every repair bought him another day.
For the next two and a half months, he stayed alive as the prison’s mechanic while prisoners around him were taken away and killed.
In January 1979, Vietnamese troops closed in.
The guards marched Chum Mey and the last prisoners out of the city. On the road, he found his wife and their baby son.
In the most tragic turn possible, they were caught in a hail of gunfire. His wife and son were killed in front of him after he had finally reunited with them.
Chum ran and managed to survive.
Somewhere between 12,000 and 20,000 people were sent to the communist torture prison. Only a handful came out alive.
Chum Mey was one of the lucky ones.
“I cried every day for the wife and children I lost.”
That’s why they say in a new war, retire everybody above Major.
I’m sure there are tons of Colonels and Generals in the Pentagon fighting tooth and nail defending expensive tanks.

Oh no! How could she possibly feed her kids with just $50K a month. The trajedy!
Kevin Costner’s wife asked for $248,000 a month in child support. In court, she said she didn’t know how she’d afford groceries.
They had a prenup. It gave her 30 days to leave his house after she filed for divorce. A judge had to order her out.
They married in 2004 and had three children. In May 2023, after 18 years, she filed. The house was his, bought in 1988, before the marriage.
The prenup paid her $100,000 on the wedding day, $100,000 on the first anniversary, and $1 million after she filed.
He offered about $51,000 a month. A judge set $129,755 for now. She asked for more.
She moved into a $40,000 a month rental and said it wasn’t enough for the kids.
That summer, she was photographed on vacation in Hawaii with a family friend, Josh Connor.
In September 2023, the judge decided: $63,209 a month.
In the video below, Kevin arrives at court: “We’re talking about somebody I love on the other side.” Then listen for what she says is in the kids’ DNA.
She later married Josh Connor.
The case for Christine: 18 years, three kids, and a husband who made over $1 million a month on Yellowstone.
The case for Kevin: she signed the prenup, and their oldest son drives a 15 year old truck.
Was $63,209 a month for three kids fair, or did she ask for too much?
