Today’s telecom companies have mastered one thing: collecting money instantly while making customers beg for the service they already paid for.
Almost 1 month ago, I paid all charges requested by Jio for my @reliancejio JIOFiber relocation, completed KYC, activated a new plan, and cleared all dues.
Money collected immediately.
Service provided: ZERO.
Raise complaints? Ticket closed.
Send emails? No response.
Escalate to grievance? Feels like your complaint goes straight into a spam folder.
Approach @consaff? Endless waiting and paperwork while companies continue business as usual.
Consumers are no longer treated like customers. We are treated like numbers, wallets, and disposable tickets in a CRM system.
Weeks of follow-ups, false promises, "resolved today" messages, and zero accountability. Everyone is passing the issue to someone else while the customer keeps losing time, money, and peace of mind.
The system that was supposed to protect consumers now feels designed to protect corporations. Companies take payments in minutes but take months to take responsibility.
Customer service has become a script. Grievance departments have become forwarding machines. And consumers are left chasing their own money and basic service.
Users need accountability, not automated replies.

Every interaction with educational institutions reinforces one belief students are eager to build, innovate, and work on technologies that create real-world impact.

More than a month has passed since I made the payment, and despite raising multiple complaints, there has been no resolution, no accountability, and not even a proper response by FRAUD @JioCare @reliancejio
What is most concerning is not the delay itself, but the complete failure of the consumer grievance system. Large corporations continue to ignore customers while support channels keep generating ticket numbers instead of solutions.
As citizens, we are repeatedly told that consumer protection mechanisms exist. But when a customer spends weeks chasing a basic resolution without any outcome, it raises a serious question: Are consumer rights truly being protected, or are customers simply expected to give up?
I still believe in the judicial system and the rule of law. Perhaps it is now time to pursue the legal route—not only to resolve my own issue, but to test whether accountability applies equally to large corporations as it does to ordinary citizens.
Consumers deserve answers. Consumers deserve accountability. Consumers deserve justice.
