🤔 Can you show your boarding pass on your phone at Indian immigration?
👉🏽 Yes. From 1 September 2026, international travellers can use e-boarding passes displayed on their smartphones during immigration clearance. FTI-TTP enrolled travellers can also use them at e-Gates.
👉🏽 Physical boarding passes continue to be accepted.
👉🏽 For an e-Gate scan, display the boarding pass clearly, increase screen brightness if needed, and align the code with the scanner. If the problem persists, ask the immigration official on duty for assistance.
👉🏽 Boarding passes are no longer stamped during immigration clearance. This change concerns boarding passes; it should not be confused with passport/visa endorsement requirements.

My Demand: Make Long Term Capital Gain TAX on Equities NIL for individual investor.
I welcome the hike in STT (security transaction tax) on derivatives as it can curb reckless speculation. Nearly 90% of retail investors lose money in F&O, turning markets into gambling.
When STT was originally introduced, LTCG was zero. But now with both STT and LTCG in place, investors are disincentivised.
I urge the govt to abolish LTCG on equities for individuals, as done in Switzerland, Singapore, UAE & others. This will boost household wealth, reduce speculation, and shift savings from gold & real estate into equities.
