#Etna's 44th paroxysmal eruptive episode at the Southeast Crater since 16 February 2021 occurred shortly after midnight on 7 July 2021. Tephra (ash & lapilli) was blown southward, obscuring the view from our home. These are my best shots of this rather intense, loud event.
