PsyMed Ventures was featured on the Wall Street Journal @wsj!
I went all in with my team to fund the future of mental and brain health. Joined the team from the very beginning, saw successes like the Alto IPO and Gilgamesh $1.2B exit, and the launch of fund II.
So grateful.

A lot of success in life is just putting yourself in a position for good things to happen to you.
+ Be reliable
+ Avoid drama
+ Help other people win
+ Take care of your body
+ Take care of your mind
+ Live below your means
+ Treat your job as if it matters
+ Take care of your relationships
Simple but not easy.

One of the reasons technology has made us unhappier is because in making everything available instantly, weβve eliminated anticipation.
Bring back anticipation (the joy of imagining and wondering and waiting eagerly), and youβll increase your happiness.

15 years in the making, we confirmed that mitochondria -the powerhouse of the cell- have an unusual localization in patients who experience psychosis (including schizophrenia and bipolar disorders). Youβll never guess what kind of patient cells we used to make this discovery...π§΅

i used to think having bipolar 1 was a weakness because of the crippling manic and depressive episodes, hospitalizations, and cognitive dsyfunction. but once you learn how to take care of yourself with bipolar 1, it becomes a superpower and your passion and potential skyrockets.
