reylo’s rolling up to LFL in the kyril-mobile to find Ben solo. when we arrive, we hear a voice from within the trunk. when we open it, none other than Adam Driver himself clambers out, wearing butterfly clips in his hair & holding a bag of licorice for the drive. he’s with us.

Adam Driver reveals he and Steven Soderbergh spent 2 years developing a Kylo Ren standalone movie — “The Hunt for Ben Solo” — but Disney rejected on the project: “We presented the script to Lucasfilm. They loved the idea,” Driver recalled. “They totally understood our angle and why we were doing it. We took it to Bob Iger and Alan Bergman, and they said no. They didn’t see how Ben Solo was alive. And that was that.” variety.com/2025/film/news/a…

New episode! On this week’s episode of Skytalkers, we’re talking about the state of Star Wars as a franchise, the recent news of a new trilogy, the Reylo Renaissance (despite the anti-sequel trilogy aura to the world), and so much more. 🧡

I swear everyone forgets JJ was an EP on TLJ and knew it’s story beats while TFA was filming…he had every opportunity to steer characters in certain directions and didn’t. there are no characters he “saved” or “righted” with IX

We’ve seen the first episode of The Ninth Jedi, and it is SO exciting to be back in this Star Wars story from Production I.G. and Lucasfilm. The surprise at the end of the episode had us shocked and immediately ready for the next one! All 8 episodes drop on August 5 on Disney+!
