RALPH SKINNER was one of the finest gentlemen I’ve ever known in my life ⚾️⚓️
As a baseball coach at Bearden High School for decades, playing at Farragut was always a challenge, but I knew that when Ralph came into our dugout an hour before the game to get our lineup, he would always walk in with a smile and a very friendly welcome and greeting. You always felt better after talking with Ralph Skinner.
Then, when he announced Starting Lineups over the Public Address system, Ralph would welcome our team in a genuine and caring manner.
Since I came to Farragut in 2020, I’ve been in the dugout with the Admirals Baseball team for every game ⚓️⚾️ That meant getting to visit with Ralph before each home game and every Post-Season game in May.
Ralph was a major part of the Admirals’ success. His final five seasons all ended with Farragut winning the State Championship. He will be remembered by everyone who knew him forever. Ralph will be missed by his amazing family, friends and the entire Admirals Baseball community.
Winston Churchill once said, “I am always satisfied with the very best”. RALPH SKINNER was the very best! ⚾️⚓️🏆

Never remember Ralph not having a warm smile on his face. Loved spending time with him at Farragut baseball games and seeing the way he invested in people and was always so willing to give of himself. Praying for his family. A servant of Christ in every way.

Ralph loved Farragut Baseball so much and was an ever-present figure around the program for years and years. I got to sit next to him one last time back in May. I’ll now cherish that conversation even more. Rest in peace, buddy.
What a sad day. Ralph was many things: husband, father, friend and believer. It's hard to think of Farragut baseball without Ralph. He is one of the most humble and loyal people I have ever known. Miss you my friend. Prayers for family.
No one loves it more than him. One of the best men I know.
They don’t make dirt guys like they used to.

Coach Shoop is the standard we should all aspire to as coaches. A humble servant leader who always pointed to the cross.

“Tend to your faith not just when you’re broken, but when you’re whole.”
Eric Church returned to his alma mater, UNC Chapel Hill, and gave graduates a message bigger than music:
The country star told graduates that faith is the “low E” of life: the foundation every chord rests on, especially when the world gets overwhelming.

Former LSU HC Dale Brown reportedly charted every one of Pete Maravich’s shots in college to see what he would average with a 3-point line.
Maravich would have scored a total of 4,731 career points — averaging 57.0 PPG.
Freshmen also couldn’t play varsity at this time🤯
Congrats to Wes Alig. Rookie of the Year for all sports. Such a great young man and player. Proud of you.
