Arg I missed the black sesame specials at Komeda Coffee!

I haven't seen anyone talking about this! In Harajuku I saw the building work for the replica of the old station that was demolished in 2020. It'll be a "commercial complex" (shops & cafes?) - and this must be it! It's right next to the new station (on the left in the pic).

My calendar has the dates of Japanese festivals in 2027 (there are SO MANY!). Pre-order now, and they'll be sent out in time for Christmas & the new year: cakeswithfaces.co.uk/product…

Thank you Dean & Irene for this pic with my Japan guide book in Tokyo! 🎶

Japan's new tax-free shopping system starts on 1st Nov. Instead of taking the tax off at the till, you'll need to scan your passport at the airport to get the tax refund. Full details in my video: youtu.be/sfKwLrbCSXQ

The perfect place to escape the city in Tokyo, for a moment of calm in a traditional Japanese garden. Take a relaxing stroll with me (with matcha and sweets!) in today's video: youtu.be/Zh4-cHwOQ5g

Thank you to Sheryl for these photos wearing my t-shirts in Japan! 🐱

If anyone's about to go to Japan & wondering about the weather, in Tokyo it's still lovely & warm t-shirt weather in the daytime (23-29°C), but you need a light hoodie in the evenings. There's a typhoon coming though so watch out for that.

I'm back at work today & sending out all your orders! Gotta say, England seems SO grey & dark compared to Japan at this time of year. 😅 It was still 29°C in Tokyo yesterday.

If you placed an order while I was away, I'll start sending them out tomorrow, so it'll be on the way to you soooon! Right now, fighting to keep my eyes open till night time.. 😅

Two hotels. The same price. Opposite sides of Tokyo. Which would you pick? youtu.be/lv4gHaWcgvc

We tried the crunchiest, freshest sushi hand rolls in Harajuku! 🍣 Just a quick video this week: youtu.be/yoaBXBjX5Ys

Just some of the gorgeous evening illumination events coming up in Japan, from this week's Japan News video. 😍 There are so many coming up! youtu.be/sD2q-zcm7Cs?si=ku9W…

Just donated to Rainforest Action Network to carbon offset my flights to Japan. 💚 I asked a friend who works in the environment, who said this would be the most effective, as most airlines' schemes tend to be greenwash-y.

Final call for orders before the shipping delay! The cut-off is midday UK time (about 3 hours from now)

The other JR mascots are stepping up their game, now the Suica penguin's retirement's on the horizon...
