Models have low tracking south meaning more snow but uncertainty on warm pocket of air which could bring temps above freezing by Thur. a.m. reducing amounts for shores of Lake ON - Euro (left) vs NAM (right). 15-25 cm still poss. for Toronto/20-40 cm north of the city. #onstorm

A Geomagnetic Storm Watch (G3 Strong) has been issued by NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Centre. Weather depending, that means the aurora may be visible tonight farther south than usual in Canada and the U.S. #Auroraborealis

Be sky aware today! A cold front will bring the potential for strong storms this afternoon in the GTHA with torrential downpours possible. Favourable dynamics for rotating storms including the possibility of tornadoes in Eastern Ontario. #onstorm

Changes still possible but here's an update: we are still tracking a heavy swath of snow for GTHA after 7 p.m. Friday eve. A quicker transition to rain closer to Lake Ontario so less accumulation in downtown Toronto but more snow north towards the 407 and Eastern ON. #ONStorm
