Here she comes, Lockdown 2.0

Victoria Pedretti recently came out with ADHD. We have public figures like Solange Knowles, Simone Biles, & Emma Watson. But I want to see positive representations of women with ADHD on screen. We're so much more than 'Ooh look a squirrel' or the stereotypical girly space cadet
People with ADHD are so much more than the stigma & negative stereotypes they are tarnished with. We need more positive neurodivergent role models in mainstream media

When I think about the inaccessibility of ADHD treatment in the UK I get so angry. ADHD isn’t just a little bit of distraction, it’s a neurodevelopment disorder that affects every single aspect of your life. People are being failed.

It makes sense, I've also heard we were originally hunter gatherers due to our fast impulses & hyperfocus so nocturnal brain activity would be beneficial. It also begs the question; is ADHD a disorder or a symptom of existing in a neurotypical society🤔
Super proud of my sister @RubyRichardson9 check out her interview about her film #LastHoursOnEarth ❤ femalefirst.co.uk/movies/exc…

The government may not think the arts are worth their support, but the support of arts activities is invaluable to everyone. We have gained *more* sisters over lockdown - here's @calicoboyle telling us what TWP has meant for her wellbeing.
