I voted NO for a third time on the Nonprofit Killer HR. 9495. This bill could shut down nonprofits without due process, silencing groups like ACLU, NAACP, and Planned Parenthood. It's an assault on civil liberties and democracy. We must protect free speech & our right to dissent.
Since Twitter isn't letting us opt out of Grok consuming our posts for the benefit of someone's stock portfolio, I'll not be posting anything significant here anymore.
Find me on Bluer skies or elsewhere!

"These studies reveal an interesting fault line. While most women get their news from TikTok, most young men get their news from YouTube, X, and Reddit."
Also, if you read a newspaper, odds are 3-to-1 you voted Harris. If you don't consume news, odds are 2-to-1 you voted Trump.
Most election post-mortems neglect a key factor in how people vote: where they get their news.

It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.
And theyβre right.
