My internal batteries were recharged with moments of pure laughter & genuine smiles. It was interesting to hear their views of remote and in person learning, yard signs and Halloween traditions. I learned important views of today’s youth.
Parent called after school & requested the student be able to log on at that moment. Okay. Student took the assessment while in their car. That was a first! #hereforthestudents #NewNormal2020
Today
I administered an online assessment. Afterwards the 2nd grader asked,”Do you have time to just talk? “ Fortunately I could say Yes!” He talked about his Mom’s bad accident last year and how she is doing now. #imissthekids #theymisstheteachers
Today I had to have an emergency crown. Dentist said to stick with soft foods. How about Apple crisp made in the air fryer? It was delicious! #followdoctorsorders
Today my daughter’s book BLUSH was released. A reading teachers dream,your child loves books so much she authored a memoir. It appeals to cancer survivors, parents, tweens, , and grandparents. Need a book 📚that will make you cry, laugh, smile and a love story....read Blush!

Each night I have dreams about school. Actually these started in June. But remote or in person, I'm excited about working with students again and not just dreaming about it!

Set up my Zoom account yesterday. It only took a few minutes. Then hopped onto a meeting set up my another....super easy!
