Wow
This is the Oxyrhynchus Hymn, dated to the late 200s AD. It is the earliest known Christian hymn manuscript with both lyrics and musical notation. A plain English rendering of the surviving words:
“Let all creation be silent.
Let the shining stars be still.
Let the rushing winds and rivers cease.
While we sing to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
let every power answer: Amen, amen.
Strength, praise, and glory forever to God,
the only giver of all good things. Amen, amen.”

The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty

What does it say about me if I am unable to love my neighbor or family member who holds very different, if not what I think are dangerous, political views?
Jesus doesn’t say to love those who are nice and cuddly like me. He lifts up enemies and neighbors for a reason.
I asked my 18-year-old son who Jesus would vote for. His answer? "Jesus wouldn't vote."
Was he right? Is there a biblical case for skipping the ballot box, or are Christians called to lean in?

Schools group kids of all abilities together and call it “equity.”
But some kids don’t know their letters, while others read Harry Potter.
Good luck teaching them all at once...
@MichaelPetrilli explains why kids need classes that match their abilities:
Gifted Kids Are Being Held Back in the Name of Equity
Many schools are ending gifted and talented classes in the name of “equity.” But holding smart kids back hurts everyone.
"We have to actually see that words can become flesh to believe them to be true. We don't believe words that don't become flesh to be true."

I didn’t become convinced against Christian nationalism by reading another book. I became convinced after my own church faced discrimination when we were denied permission to build. Here’s why that experience clarified how I think about the government's authority in matters of religion.
