First, they are called wind turbines, not windmills.
Second, China today produces enough electricity from wind to power 53% of U.S. and enough wind+solar to power >102% of the U.S. today.

NEWS: Florida is building a highway that charges electric cars as they drive.
The Florida expressway will include a 0.75-mile electrified section and is expected to be completed by 2029.
According to ENRX, the project’s technology partner, the electrified roadway can deliver charging speeds of up to 200 kW. The primary target for this type of charging infrastructure is commercial fleets, including delivery vans and long-haul trucks.
Moving from a cliff to a steep slope is better than nothing, but still think we need a price-per-watt cap and moving eligibility to “start of construction” like the Senate draft shared, and not this “placed into service” requirement unless definition eliminates interconnection.

Incredible trip to #RhodeIsland with @ENERGY State and Community Energy Programs and IGEA team! Rhode Island showcased incredible innovation in their efforts to transition to the clean energy economy.
Our first stop on today’s tour was a visit with @truthboxarch, an architectural firm that specializes in sustainable and energy efficient designs. They used old shipping containers to build an energy efficient commercial building with a rooftop solar array.
It was great to join @interfaithpower this afternoon for a webinar on climate and resources for faith-based communities to shed light on the incredible resource at @ENERGY to save energy, save money, and save the planet. Check out the great twitter thread of info below! #SCEP

Pleased to welcome @SecGranholm to Columbia today to highlight the Biden-Harris Admin's investments in clean energy and EV production in South Carolina.
Thanks to their efforts, we’re working to fight the climate crisis by making clean energy accessible and affordable for all.
We are truly witnessing humanities last ditch effort to bend the curve on #climatechange...and in doing so, we will reviatlize our industrial economy, create millions of jobs, and win the arms race towards a more secure, reliable, affordable, resilient, and clean energy future.
The climate crisis is real — and what we do today MATTERS.
