Don’t often do this but got sent this clip of my mum today by ⁦@LeoDevine⁩ as it would’ve been her 67th birthday. 30 years without her this year. So, I suppose I just wanted to say happy birthday mum. X

Happy to have @TButty home from 2 weeks at Wimbledon where he’s been making great films like this. Great tribute to Sue Barker @BBCSport @Wimbledon

Highlight of my fortnight was attempting to sum up Sue Barker’s career in one film. A huge loss to the BBC but hope she enjoys the retirement

Happy birthday to my amazing dad. He’s taught my a lot about life, politics and beer. If I look anywhere near as good at 68 I’ll have done very well.

Can’t imagine what this takes…he still had another 3 miles to go!! What a guy! @Marathon_Mcr

Anyone know who this fella is? Just happened across him, the last person on the ⁦@Marathon_Mcr⁩ course. Full firefighter kit and doing amazingly. Would love to chuck a few quid into his charity pot if we can find him.

Being a woman: my "outside" day finishes at sundown. If I haven't taken the dog for a walk/jogged by then, I can't. In the winter, it often means the choice between exercise and work. Today, I had to stop work at 4 to exercise. My husband worked until 6, and is now off for a run.

This little gem, from my brother @LiamThorpECHO, has provided me with best belly laugh I’ve had in months. We were all flummoxed as to why he’d been offered the vaccine...all except mum perhaps 🤣
Liam Thorp (@LiamThorpECHO) profile pictureLiam Thorp@LiamThorpECHO17 Feb 2021
So I’m not getting a vaccine next week - was feeling weird about why I’d been selected ahead of others so rang GP to check. Turns out they had my height as 6.2cm rather than 6 ft 2, giving me a BMI of 28,000 😂

Also, props to @catherine_butt and the curriculum design team for the quality of the sessions. To work at such speed and produce such high quality is frankly astounding. The sessions are a joy to deliver.

I’ve spent the last hour prancing around my living room practising my teacher voice on a zoom call to relative strangers and it was fantastic! So impressed with how much I’m getting out of Teach First’s Summer Institute despite it all being online this year ☺️
