Hope this is lesson to the squad. Yes, we played our C team, but they played poorly from the start. Even when subs came on, we didn't play with enough urgency to win in regular time. Really poor and disappointing. Arteta will be furious.

Where were these shots earlier in the game? 2 big saves by their keeper.

Mosquera has been quite poor tonight.

Bruno sub is 10-20 minutes late.

Is really is shocking how few calls Gyokeres gets. Because he looks big, refs think he should be able to cope with physical play and allow defenders to foul him all day.

C'mon Arteta. Put on Bruno.

Kai has been quite poor... Neither striker in top form. Sigh.

Could use Eze and/or Bruno soon.

Arteta needs to bring on Eze for O'Neil, and Bruno for Havertz.

Lots of players in this lineup who have barely played this season and are very rusty. Mosquera, Salmon, Hincapie, Zubimendi, Dowman, even Timber and Gyokeres. And it's showing.

Poor by Salmon and Meslier.

Hincapie looks rusty, which is understandable.

Fantastic run and assist by Camavinga!

Chelsea continue to be an ill-disciplined squad. Even new players like Rogers have become part of this.

Great goal by Tel.

Palmer should be sent off. Need to see a replay but that looked like violent conduct.

This game felt like one of our solid PL games from last season. Won more corners, scored on one early, and saw it out. Noni was quite good, thought Eze was bright, and Gyokeres very solid and more connected to the team. A bit disappointed in Merino who looked rusty.

This ref is not up to the level.

Arteta once again slow to recognize the need to make subs. Our play is starting to stall and falter. Need fresh legs and minds. Myles and Merino should come off. Maybe White as well.

Think we need some subs soon. Myles on a yellow isn't ideal, given he doesn't have much pace and relies on tactical fouls at times. Merino has not been great.
