I always push people to use and view your voice as an instrument, and why I always urge people to try and be as happy with your raws as possible …but! DAWs are too! mixing is like a muscle! The time I spent learning the limits of my tools, really helped me get comfortable with

my voice in different styles and genres privately, so I can enjoy and have a blast with my instrument!! My voice!! HOWEVER I want!! They both take effort to learn, it’s just different flavors of energy and style for that performance.

So if you feel discouraged on EITHER end, rawdoggin it and thugging it out w/ no processing, or if you might not be the strongest vocalist but it helps you to strengthen that or get a new skill? You’re so fucking cool for caring and putting effort in to improve either way.

I gotta focus on recovery first before I can jump in and help people in vc or one on one. A tip that saved me 5 years late: save yourself time! screenshot and record/make a text file of your settings when you like them! Record a video on ur phone of your set up/mic placement/etc

I know that's a super basic tip and doesn't seemingly relate to "LIVE PRO AUTOTUNE" but quality starts at the source! Build your personal toolkit and reference guide! Make notes for YOU! Record different set ups and say what settings are what in those recordings! save yourself...
