some of y’all have mistaken your particular corner of fandom for fandom itself
fanfic and fanart are NOT the only way to experience fandom
their popularity on your TL doesn’t make them the backbone of the fandom community
Hi! No apologies needed! I think you meant to ask whether she is an OC or a self-insert. She did start as an insert, but she's changed so much over time and I think she has really become her own character, especially in the process of fitting her into Artem's life.
I still consider her an insert despite our differences, but I don't mind if people call her an OC, and I do sometimes call her an OC as well.
A quick fun fact about her is that I actually did not come up with her original design - when I commissioned my first Catriartem art, I didn't have any references so I just sent a selfie AJSJSJD obligatory comparison??
Anyway, I'm so glad to hear that you like her! 🥹 I'm crazy flattered and might be blushing a little HAHA 🙈❣️
