Huawei was assaulted by Europe and the US like no other company before. Their products were banned and ripped out of 5G networks.
Google sanctioned them by cancelling their use of Android.
Now they are back and forcing companies to buy their patents.
I think Huawei has America to thank in a way. Without the US bans and sanctions, it might not have been pushed so hard to innovate and reach where it is today.
If you can’t fight them, join them.

Let's not forget where Mao stood on the Issue of Israel-Palestine.
To those of you who support both Taiwan and Palestine -- now's your chance to reconsider.

Xi Jinping's anti-corruption sweep is indeed massive in scale. Over the past 14 years, over 7 million people had been disciplined in some way. Given the fact that the public sector is roughly 70 million people in China, this suggest one in 10 public worker got penalized.
Does the "political purge" theory of anti-corruption actually hold up when such a staggering number of individuals are affected? This is reaching down now into village cadres, SOE employees, administrators etc. If the goal is simply to eliminate political threats to Xi, you'd see the purge at the top level, not top to bottom.
They are even going after retirees who are already not in power. Could it be as simple as this? Xi Jinping is determined to crush corruption wherever it exists in China?
Sweet of Bloomberg to be concern about China's bureaucrat talent pipeline tho. I'm sure they're just trying to be helpful.
As hundreds of China’s top politicians gather in Beijing this week, President Xi Jinping is facing a problem of his own making: His sweeping purges are draining the pipeline he needs to staff senior roles next term bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Let's be honest, the West hates Mao because he liberated Chinese people, united the country, and made it impossible to be a Western puppet.
Moreover, he inspired more Asian, African, and Latin American people's anti-colonial and anti-imperialist movements. The West slanders any leader who refuses to obey them.
Mao was a great strategist, revolutionist, thinker, writer and leader. Long live the great unity of the people of the world!💪
To us Chinese, Mao Zedong is our hero.
Mao uplifted farmers and the working class in China, united the Chinese people, led us to defeat foreign invaders, and founded an independent country so we could all live with dignity.
Mao supported the heroic struggle of the African people against imperialism and colonialism.
He was one of the greatest leaders in world history, and one of the most demonized by the West.

You still owe someone an apology
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Mao Zedong is under any single social metric a dictator. Not a single popular election, single government party and lifetime leadership. Not even taking into account the millions of deaths under his reign.

Mao Zedong started China on its journey back to its place as the most powerful economy in the world, and the West will never forgive him for it.
China haters dislike Mao Zedong because he successfully ended a century of colonial exploitation.
Go to any site of Mao statues in China and you will see lines of people taking pictures with him, all day long, everyday.
Make no mistake, he is not only a hero of the people of China, but of oppressed people the world over.
fuck right off
🚨🚨 COMUNICADO OFICIAL:
Real Madrid C.F. wishes to apologize to the Chinese people for any distress that may have been caused by the recent remarks made by our player, Kylian Mbappé.
Our club holds deep respect for China—its history, its culture, and its citizens—as well as for the millions of Chinese fans who feel affection and admiration for Real Madrid.
The club joins in the public apology offered by Kylian Mbappé, in which the player himself has expressed regret for his words and reiterated his respect for the Chinese people.
Real Madrid reaffirms its commitment to the values of respect, coexistence, and cross-cultural understanding, and expresses its desire to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship and affection that connect it to China and its citizens.
good. don't change anything unless all parties admit mao was a great, people loving leader
🚨🇨🇳 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 | China have REJECTED Real Madrid's explanation regarding the controversy surrounding Kylian Mbappé. ❌
They will NOT broadcast any La Liga matches, reports @EFEnoticias. 📺🚫
this zionist club has to apologize. time to set the standard high and tell the world what a great leader mao was and that communism is the future
Real Madrid has a big problem of double standard on discrimination against China. Mbappé is just the latest example.
2024: The grandson of former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz was filmed singing a racist song targeting Chinese women. The Chinese Embassy in Spain lodged a formal protest; the club dismissed it as "isolated behavior by individual fans" and moved on. No formal apology, no real punishment.
February 2026: Current player Huijsen shared anti-Asian content. He apologized only on Chinese social media platform Weibo. The statement was not posted to Real Madrid's official website or overseas accounts, and Huijsen's own global accounts stayed silent. It was criticized as a "Weibo-exclusive apology."
2026: Real Madrid's official overseas social media account listed Tibet alongside Nepal as a separate disaster-affected entity, playing word games with Chinese sovereignty. It later deleted the post only after official media criticism. Still no apology.
The contrast is telling. When a fan was caught doing a Nazi salute in a Champions League match, Real Madrid immediately issued a strong condemnation. When Vinícius faced racist abuse, the club publicly demanded punishment. The standard exists. Real Madrid simply didn’t apply when China is the target.
Now, China has fully banned Mbappé. Mbappé himself has apologized. La Liga has apologized. But Real Madrid is still shielding discrimination and doesn’t apologize.
As for Real Madrid’s claim that its partnerships with Chinese sponsors remain unchanged, China’s CCTV has just responded that "We hope Real Madrid stops daydreaming. Until the apology is properly delivered, everything is off the table."

I think Lewandowski was better than Kane tbh. neither proved to have that consistent clutch gene the greats have though, that's another reason why Benz is in another tier to them. did it as a side piece apart of generational front 3 then did it again as the main man, consistently

In China you lose business by slandering the founding father of modern China
In the west you lose business by criticizing Israel
Which one is stranger?

Examining the actual power structure of the CPC proves this is false. In fact neither Stalin nor Mao were dictators in the technical sense - all their decisions required the approval of the leading committees and councils of the party. Donald Trump has more executive/decree power
mbappe won't stop at nothing
🚨🇳🇱 Dutch journalist statement on his Ballon d'Or votes:
"Kylian Mbappé has written history, that's why he was first for me. Lamine Yamal was great these last few months, but in World Cup Rodri was more dominant.
The closer voting gets, the more the pressure rises, there are all sorts of approaches to influence journalists.
For example, I received an email from Harry Kane press team, asking if I was interested in an exclusive interview."
