Reminder, this is why it’s important to make John Scouse and sound scouse! Also that accent is such a big part of w/c identity in the UK and, u less someone is ashamed of their identity, they tend to keep it even when mixing with others! (Unless they move as a young child)

This!! As someone with a distinctly working class British accent, seeing Constantine not speak as a scouser hurts. People don’t realise accent bias and prejudice is a genuine thing in the uk and John speaking in a posh southern accent takes away a big aspect of his w/c identity.
