The abortion debate is more about lack of consequences than it is about healthcare.
The left will celebrate today. The right will make excuses or move on to 2028.
But faithful Christians are in mourning. For us it’s not about a party, but the glory of God.
Killing babies up to birth? Overthrowing biblical marriage?
Many of us will lay before the Lord today in repentance for our rebellion and hard-heartedness. For failing in teaching our children and leading our homes well. For allowing the church to be captured by gross and perverted ideologies.
Oh Lord hear. Forgive us.
As this post finally slows down, I’m grateful! My account is small and I typically don’t get this kind of feedback.
But I do want to pray for you all, especially those who disagree with me.
Oh Father in heaven, thank you for the opportunity to speak with so many today. Many are hurting over what’s happening in Virginia and apparently many are celebrating.
Oh Lord, every person I spoke with today is created in your image. I pray you would call them to yourself if they don’t know you. Show them their sin in the marvelous grace you offer in Jesus Christ.
Keep them safe. Protect their families.

America is in a sordid mess. We cannot vote our way out of it. For the last 3 years on the 1st Wednesday of the month @gracebaptist has observed a day of prayer & fasting for reformation & revival in our nation.
Join us. Ask God to rend the heavens & revive His work among us.
Oh LORD, many have commented on this post. Thankfully, many are your people. But many seem not to be, slandering and mocking clear truths, and even a broken and contrite heart, which you will not despise.
Father, call them to Yourself. Draw them. Show them their sin and need for Your Son, Jesus, who died for sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Bring conviction by Your Spirit as you did for me.
Master, rebuke the devil. Stop wichcraft. Reveal deception.
Save our leaders. Give us discernment. Forgive us of our sins. Help us oh LORD.

Christians! Make SURE you are faithfully attending a solid local church, led by godly men who will preach the whole counsel of God. Look for, in no order:
1. Lots of godly love
2. A unwavering commitment to Scripture
3. Promotion of biblical marriage, one man and one woman
4. Unashamed teaching on the roles of men and women, husbands and wives
5. A love for life and babies and the promotion of regular family worship
6. Regular corporate prayer
7. Humility and repentant hearts in leaders
8. Sound doctrine
9. Gospel preaching (expository would be great)
10. Redemptive church discipline
11. A willingness to lovingly call sin...sin.
12. Courage!
I'm sure there's more. But how great is this need!

It’s hard to express how great the need is right now for biblical local churches and strong, godly households.
Hebrews 4:14-16 (KJV) Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
