Thank you finally to everyone who came out to @IthacaCollege to participate in #CCSCNE2023. It was wonderful to interact with so many of you and to see you interacting with each other in ways we haven't seen in a few years.
The Undergraduate Poster Exhibit and Research Competition at #CCSCNE2023 was our largest in many years, with 61 posters! Awards are given to the top three. The posters committee selected finalists based on abstracts, and judges at the conference rated the posters.
Our second place poster was "Snail Language Support" by Charles Reinhardt from @StLawrenceU.
And the winner was "Racial Representation in Television: Building a New Dataset Through Web Scraping and Machine Learning" by Jenny Wang, from @Wellesley @WellesleyCS. Congratulations!
And the winner of the #CCSCNE2023 programming contest was @Muhlenberg Team 2! Thank you and congratulations to all of the programming contest teams and their advisors.
The proceedings of #CCSCNE2023 will appear soon as an issue of the Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges, indexed in the @TheOfficialACM @ACMDL.
