Yesterday marked my annual visit to Bathurst on @iRacing for the 12-hour race: an event that's been filled with disappointment for me and my teammate Karl in the past.

As a longtime Marcos Ambrose fan, it's been a while since I've been this excited about any Cup Series winner. Those on-the-limit late-braking moves were shades of Marcos. Way to go Shane, winning one for the ringers!

That was such an impressive comeback to follow on the scanner. Even after the car was literally up in smoke, there was no blame and no negativity. Just a professional approach, and cool under pressure.

Yes, he's tall, and yes, I'm short, but I've been a fan of @AustinCindric for a while now. Awesome to see him win today, and always cool seeing a road racer win on an oval.
In last weekend's Bathurst 12 Hours, my final result was a mediocre one, but just reaching the finish line was an accomplishment years in the making.
