What I am mourning is perhaps not worth saving, but I regret its loss nevertheless- Steinbeck. The 10th Amendment is there for a reason. Misfit.

The really messed up thing about this situation is that the punt is the most logically defensible decision he’s made all year. It’s everything leading up to the punt that’s indefensible.
Ryan Silverfield’s explanation on punting with 1:48 to go instead of going for it on 4th down.

To the best of my knowledge nobody running for office in Arkansas has suggested changing state law to create a new mechanism for removing UofA board of trustee members, but eventually it will occur to one of them that that platform would be pretty damn popular right about now.

Despite what espn/the internet tells you, having dozens of new players in new systems with new coaches getting 40ish practices before rolling the ball out in a sport that requires repetition has definitely hurt the quality of play, even for the β€œgood” teams.

It’s β€œparity” in the sense that there are just a whole lot of not very good football teams.

The good news is I had no hope going into this game, so a lot of fans of much better teams feel a lot worse than I do right now.

As much as it pains me to be on the side of a Longhorn on anything, there’s actually a dedicated time after the game for her to ask these questions.

Our qb is not good enough for us to hang with a good team if we can’t run the ball. That’s just reality.

Defense is improved, but not nearly good enough to constantly be put in bad situations by an incompetent offense.

Two words: jury nullification.
"Not in my city, not in my state." A New Mexico man was arrested after defiantly taking down Flock cameras, and recording himself doing so. Jevon Martinez recorded the removals after the Bernalillo County sheriff moved to end the department's contracts with Flock Safety, citing privacy and data-sharing concerns. Martinez says he's "helping" the sheriff's office by collecting the equipment and insists he isn't stealing it. Authorities see it differently. Deputies say eight of the 10 systems were managed by neighborhood associations, and Martinez now faces larceny and interference with communications charges. Read more⬇️

Oregon will probably never sign up for a September game in this part of the country again. Even their fans looked like they needed iv fluids.

GP No, we had 25 years to learn more about Islam, what it believes. And we've had 25 years to see what Islam does, subjugating women, attacking Westerners for their beliefs, lying about Israel and terrorist attacks. That's what's changed.
The right has had 25 years to lie, smear, fearmonger, create an entire well-funded vicious Islamophobia industry.

If we’ve learned anything in the last 25 years it’s that this was the biggest mistake since not listening to Patton about the Soviets.
George Bush reflects on the aftermath of the 9/11 terrorist attacks: "I made it clear that Islam was a religion of peace."
