"Dog whistle" is a left-wing term meaning "the alternate meaning of words/phrases arbitrarily, purposefully assigned to those coming from politically enemies, when the literal meaning insufficiently achieves left-wing political objectives."

Want to know how to lower grocery prices? Arrest and prosecute shoplifters. The money lost on theft gets rolled into the prices paid by law abiding citizens.

Watch as Mr Fenn Church refuses to let Alabama Power cross his line. They have an alternate route with a willing landowner, but refuse to call him. This will most likely wind up with Mr Fenn being arrested on his own land.

Thank you for standing with Mr. Church. A judge already found he was likely to win, and a willing landowner is 200 yards away. Move the line.

Should a for-profit utility get to cut a 125-foot path across a man's land and driveway when a willing neighbor's cleared land sits about 200 yards away?
That's the fight facing Fenn Church in Shelby County, Alabama.
Alabama Power wants a slice of his 400+ acres for the Autaugaville–East Pelham 230 kV line, about 74 miles and about $248 million. On Church's land: roughly 0.55 miles, a 125-foot easement, plus access across his roads and driveway, through timber, farmland, and the Buxahatchee Creek area.
Church's ask is simple: shift it about 200 yards onto already-cleared land with a willing owner.
A Shelby County judge (Jonathan Spann) granted him a preliminary injunction on Sept. 22, finding likelihood of success and irreparable harm if the trees came down first. On Oct. 21 the Alabama Supreme Court stayed that order 5-1 with no reasoning. Crews are clearing. Alabama Power has asked a judge to keep Church 300 feet from the crews. The underlying case is still alive.
John Rich, Trump's Special Envoy for American Landowners, is backing Church and that 200-yard fix. Watch the video.
Grid reliability matters. So do property rights. If there's a willing alternative, take it.
Alabama Power: move the line. Should a utility be able to condemn a man's land when a willing alternative is 200 yards away? Drop your take. teapawt.net/johnrich/status/211870…

🚨NEW: Venmo suspended the account of alleged Trump shooter Thomas Crooks at 4:41 a.m. on July 14, 2024 due to "unusual activity," according to the latest batch of FBI records released in response to @JudicialWatch's FOIA lawsuit. The would-be assassin's body was still on the AGR rooftop at this time.
Venmo said Crooks could resolve the issue by submitting a photo ID, so it seems like this might have been unrelated to the Trump assassination attempt--unless people were trying to access his account or something. Crooks's identity had only been public for about 4 hours.

🚨BREAKING: Colorado’s new governor-elect Phil Weiser, who showed up at “No Kings” protests, is already signaling he wants to change two measures voters just approved.
Colorado voters passed ballot measures banning biological males from girls’ sports and restricting sex-change procedures on minors. Weiser responded by saying lawmakers will have to look at these “anti-trans measures” and decide what “adjustments” are necessary.
The same politician who rallied against kings now wants to override the clear will of the voters. This is the crowd that constantly cries “democracy.”
