We talked the whole afternoon about who we were before.. those lost, confused versions of ourselves who thought we'd never go anywhere in life. We laughed about those times we almost gave up, convinced that we had no purpose. But looking back, it's crazy how the love for the ARTS changed everything for us. The same question we used to ask each other years ago: "Pano mo masasabing nahanap mo na sarili mo?" And it hit me. Finding yourself isn't really about success or proving something to others, to the world. It's about that quiet moment when you realize you're finally at peace with who you are, where you are, and what you have. That's when you can honestly say, "Yes, nahanap ko na sarili ko." Right now, I can finally say that. Because I've learned that purpose doesn't always have to be something big or grand. It just has to be genuine. And maybe that's what I am to the people around me: someone who brings ease, comfort, who makes life a little lighter, a little more convenient, a little more meaningful.
