Hi @SamsungCanada, a Samsung chat agent told me "If you place an order, I can give you $25 off" and then "Please provide me with the last 8 digits of the order ID". After I place the order and gave the order ID, he tells me the $25 promo only applies at checkout. I got scammed...

@Uber_Support Promotions weren't showing up for me in-app starting January 2023. You guys confirmed eligibility, tell me "We request you to please place the order first and reach back to us if promotion didn't get applied, so that we can assist you with the promotion discount."

Initial promo issue was caused by a backend tech error as confirmed by Uber support. Instead of fixing this, UberEats gives me a workaround solution that ends up getting my account banned. I'll be gathering evidence from the last 3 months and will spread the word.
