PLEASE SHARE🙏🏾 | I work as an inDrive driver, and this lady tried to scam me out of US$40. It seems she has been scamming different drivers using the same trick. She is currently in police custody after we managed to track her down and catch her. We are at Waterfalls Police Station, where she is being held, and I am here with three other inDrive drivers who were also scammed using the same method.
My own experience with her happened on 9 October 2026. I received a call from someone I believe I had previously picked up through inDrive. She asked how much I would charge to take her to Zimre Park. I charged her US$15, but because the trip involved another stop, I charged her US$20.
When we arrived in Machipisa, near Mushandirapamwe Hotel, she asked me for US$20, claiming she wanted to give it to someone she said was a phone repair specialist. She promised to pay me US$40 when we reached Zimre Park.
She had the man’s number written on a piece of paper and used my phone to call him. They arranged to meet at Jongwe Corner, where she collected her phone.
We then proceeded to Zimre Park. Upon arrival, she asked me to park near the Steers parking bay, saying she just wanted to see someone who was parked near KFC before we continued to her residence.
And boom! That was the last time I saw her. After waiting patiently for more than an hour, I realised that something was wrong. I decided to look for her, but she had completely disappeared.
I requested CCTV footage from the nearby businesses and discovered that she appeared to have planned everything. The footage showed her getting out of my car and walking straight to a light-blue Toyota Ractis, registration number AHC 0954. The vehicle immediately drove off.
Everything seemed to have been well planned! I then called the number of the man she had claimed was a phone repair specialist. To my surprise, he was shocked by what had happened and told me that he was also a driver and did not repair phones.
I asked him how he had ended up with the woman’s phone. He explained that he had previously given her a lift to her destination, but she had no money to pay him. She had apparently planned to leave him without paying, just as she did to me. However, he quickly realised what was happening, took her phone and told her that she would only get it back once she paid the US$20 she owed him.
This appears to be a criminal trick that is being used against different drivers. To my fellow inDrive drivers, please be careful of passengers who ask to borrow money, promising to pay you back when you reach their destination. Do not easily trust such promises, as you may end up losing your hard-earned money.
Yuhwii, some of these headlines on the Mary case, someone needs to take these young journalists and content creators for court reporting lessons @ZUJOfficial @MoJLPA

Last week in Cologne I showed how you can use the GitHub Copilot App and Foundry to build an agent you can deploy across Teams, Outlook or an app of your choice.
I also showed how you can integrate our new Decision 1 model for intent classification. I'm interested in agents that can recognise intent and then take action independetly if they decide they can be helpful, so this was fun to show!

Harry Kane going from football’s most famous trophyless player to a Ballon d’Or winner might be the greatest example of why changing employers can improve your life.

If I wasn't an official Presidential Spokesperson, I would have said South Africa should consider a real refugee program for African Americans facing real racial discrimination in the US. But, I can't say that in my official capacity, so I'm not saying it. What a talent! 🤧
A three-year-old boy named Nevada was so good at football against five-year-olds in Winter Park, Florida, that the police were called and his family was escorted off the pitch in front of other children.
His offence? He kept the ball for too long. Grown racist adults complained that their five-year-olds could not get the ball off a toddler. The league then served his family with a trespass notice.
This is 2026. A Black child who should be celebrated as a rare talent is instead treated as a threat. Had he been white, he would be on every television channel as the next great star of the game.
Imagine what would have happened to this little boy a hundred years ago.

🚨💣 BREAKING: Real Madrid TV have CLOSED their broadcast after the Ballon d’Or result. #BallonDor
The mother of 3-year-old Nevada Pierre, who was escorted by police from a youth soccer game, spoke with ABC News after she says her son was benched for being “too good.” She says Nevada has scored more than 40 goals in five games this season while playing against children two years older than him.
