Apple has lots of fancy high-level APIs that make building UI automagical But when experimenting with new hardware, I always like to rebuild everything from scratch to really understand what the fundamental building blocks actually are Probably an old habit from when I was a UI prototyper in Apple's Hardware org, and only had basic firmware to work with 😄

LG just dropped a Flutter fork for webOS! 📺 Building for smart TVs is great, but TV app store reviews are notoriously slow. Imagine bypassing those delays and pushing OTA updates directly to your TV apps with @shorebirddev. Should we support webOS? github.com/lg-flutter-webos/…

Dear US government, Since you've just blocked Fable and Mythos on critical national security grounds, here are some other tools that pose a similar threat to the American people: - Microsoft Teams - SAP - Salesforce - Jira - Outlook Please do what you must to save America 🇺🇸
‼️🚨 BREAKING: Amazon researchers snitched to the US government about jailbreaking Fable 5 and Mythos 5, forcing Anthropic to immediately shut down worldwide access. A security export control directive from Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick enforced the action. Anthropic is fighting the directive and calls it a misunderstanding. This isn't the first clash. The Trump administration had already tried to get Anthropic to pause the release of its latest models before this directive landed.

Repeat with me: "Dart is simple solid and sound" ©® 🔥🎯 #Flutter #Flutterdev
Dart must easily be the most versatile computer language out there. 🎯 * Runs as a scripting language (like Python) * Compiles to kernel code (like Java’s bytecode) * Compiles to native code (like Swift) * Compiles to JavaScript (like TypeScript) * Compiles to WASM (unlike TypeScript) * Has sound null safety (like Rust) * Stateful hot reload (like no one else - Erlang maybe?) * Runs on virtually any platform (like C/C++) In addition: * Has great developer tooling * Interops easily with other languages * Has an outstanding UI framework (Flutter) * Nicely mixes with native UI components * Is really easy to learn and work with Today, I learned that the full compiler, analyzer, and tooling can even run on a web page. Mind blown. 🤯 What else did I miss?

We've gotten A LOT of questions about RN vs Flutter in the last few days, so here's some data: #️⃣ 316K React Native apps and games ⬇️ 663M downloads in the last 30 days 💰 $436M (after fees) in the last 30 days 🕹️ ~6% of downloads and revenue came from games, the rest from apps. #️⃣ 383K Flutter apps and games ⬇️ 631M downloads in the last 30 days 💰 $416M (after fees) in the last 30 days 🕹️8% of downloads and 29% of revenue came from games Reply if you're curious about anything else.
Amazing to see Appfigures data featured on stage at Google I/O 2026. Flutter is now the #2 most popular app development SDK across both the App Store and Google Play, according to our SDK Leaderboard. It's great to see how our data provides insight into the future of mobile development at scale.

10 years defending Android native development. 3 books published. Conference stages telling people cross-platform was compromise. Then I tried Flutter from my Italian mountain town and everything I preached crumbled. I used to think real developers wrote platform-specific code. Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS. Anything else was for lazy devs who couldn't handle "real" programming. Cuneo forced my hand. No iOS developers within 100 kilometers. My indie apps needed both platforms or they'd die. First Flutter project, I expected pain. Clunky widgets, performance issues, the usual cross-platform disasters. Instead I shipped StreakUp, a daily habit tracker, to both App Store and Play Store in half the time. Then 3 Things, my focus app. Then AI Bedtime Stories, which reads custom stories to kids. Then six more apps. Same codebase. Same performance. Same native feel. All those conference talks about "platform purity" suddenly felt like religious arguments about programming languages from 2003. The hardest part wasn't learning Dart or widget trees. It was admitting I'd been wrong for a decade. Now I ship faster than Android-only developers while reaching twice the audience. Sometimes the best technical decisions happen when you stop caring about what other developers think. What platform wars are you still fighting that don't matter anymore?

If you still have doubts about Claude Mythos, here's what it did already: > Found a 27-year-old OpenBSD bug in one of the most security-hardened operating systems on earth for <$50 > Broke into a production virtual machine monitor (basically the tech that keeps cloud workloads from seeing each other's data) > Turned Firefox vulnerabilities into working exploits 181 times > Found a 16-year-old FFmpeg bug that survived every fuzzer, every code audit, and every human reviewer since 2010 > Wrote a FreeBSD exploit that gives any unauthenticated attacker on the internet full root access. No human was involved after the first prompt. > Chained 4 separate vulnerabilities together to build a browser exploit that escaped both the renderer and the OS sandbox > Found critical holes in every major web browser and every major operating system > Gave Anthropic engineers with zero security training a complete and working exploit by morning > Cracked cryptography libraries protecting TLS, AES-GCM, and SSH
Introducing Project Glasswing: an urgent initiative to help secure the world’s most critical software. It’s powered by our newest frontier model, Claude Mythos Preview, which can find software vulnerabilities better than all but the most skilled humans. anthropic.com/glasswing

Esto es magnífico. Significa que si declaro algo como: <form action="/api/checkout" method="POST" webmcp-tool="complete_purchase" webmcp-description="Submits the final order with the items in the cart"> <input type="text" name="card_number" webmcp-parameter="cardNumber" webmcp-description="16-digit card number" /> <input type="text" name="expiry" webmcp-parameter="expiryDate" /> <button type="submit" webmcp-action="submit">Pay now</button> </form> El LLM ya no necesita tomar un screenshot para adivinar cómo funciona, si no que puede descubrir la funcionalidad declarativamente. Te ahorras fácil 80% de los tokens. Más rápido y más barato.
Chrome 146 includes an early preview of WebMCP, accessible via a flag, that lets AI agents query and execute services without browsing the web app like a user. Services can be declared through an imperative navigator.modelContext API or declaratively through a form.
