Today, we pause to honour the bravery and sacrifices of those who have served - and continue to serve - our country. We are deeply grateful for their courage, which has shaped our city, our province, and our nation.
This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the Victory Square Cenotaph, an iconic Vancouver landmark that signifies our lasting gratitude to the veterans who fought for the peace and freedoms we hold dear.
On #RemembranceDay, we commit to keeping their memory alive. Lest we forget.
