Parents who pay for education don't 'get anything back'they lose out on the taxes they pay for state school places they don't use.
Great let's out extra pressure on a failing state school system ooooh and perhaps we can all claim back put pupil premium that we have been taxed on for years when our kids dont use the system?

don't, they made a choice so their kids are educated properly

Apparently, in 2029, there will be some new teachers! Will the kids need to stay at home for 5 years to wait for the new teachers?
And all these kids struggling, will be joined in class by a load of other displaced kids, some with needs who will need the attention of the teachers. Bit short sighted to think that, 'because we can't all have it, no one shall have it!'
What happens to the independent schools that heavily subsidise and provide bursaries to disadvantaged children who are gifted, what happens when they can no longer afford to do that?
I think someone has, and I have now been refunded my £150 transfer fee from EDF to EDF! I just now need to work it whether I can keep my new DD on the new tariff?
@edfenergy so I was told this new tariff would save me c.£500 per year, so I went with it. I have just worked out, that because they have increased my standing charges by an amount per day , thats an ADDITIONAL £546 per year I will be charged, immoral
