It took me 30 years, but today I got a diagnosis for autism. Still awaiting an official diagnosis as to where I am on the spectrum, but my God it's a relief. It's not really surprised me, but it's been so liberating and has helped me to better understand myself

Israeli forces have barricaded Hebron for six days.
They have displaced 5,000 people already.
Horrific.
Sally Saleh, Head of Emergency at @MedicalAidPal, told @liliasebouai @TelGlobalHealth that there is no capacity to monitor patients or guarantee consistent medical access, so preventable complications from cancer, kidney disease and diabetes will accumulate
As Israelis go to the polls there is little expectation that the election result will make life any easier for ordinary Gazans
More than one year after the “ceasefire”, a humanitarian crisis still overwhelms the Strip with few signs of recovery

The main candidates in Israeli election all far right or more far right. None have promised to dismantle 🇮🇱’s apartheid, end the occupation or stop the genocide.

I’ll be looking today to see if media outlets point out that millions of Palestinians, living under Israeli military rule in the occupied West Bank, have no right to vote. Yet, Israeli settlers, living in settlements in the West Bank, are considered Israeli citizens and can vote.

“How can a human being do such a thing to a fellow human being?”
A doctor who managed to escape El Fasher, #Sudan a year ago shares a harrowing account of the horrors people endured and the suffering that continues long after their escape.
🎥 Listen to his powerful testimony.

One year since devastating atrocities in El Fasher, nearly 900,000 displaced people are sheltering in Tawila.
Civilians there told me they need protection, aid and accountability. Instead they are at prolonged risk, aid budgets have been cut, and no accountability.

I have been detained by Israeli security forces all day. Along with with MPs @labourlewis, @larabirdsnp, MSP Kate Nevans, former MP @SamTarry and campaigners from across the world, we were turned back because they don’t want anyone seeing their ethnic cleansing.

Do not let the passing days make us forget Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the physician who continued fulfilling his humanitarian duty in Gaza amid war and danger, refusing to abandon his patients despite the pain and threats surrounding him.
Hussam Abu Safiya is not just a name that appeared in the news. He is the story of a doctor who chose to stand by his people when staying meant risking his life.
Do not forget him. Do not let his case fade into silence. Keep demanding his freedom. Behind this name is a human being who deserves to remain in our conscience until the day he is free.

Meanwhile, the UAE, which backs the RSF, the militia that carried out these atrocities, is pushing its own candidate for #UNSecretaryGeneral. Will Britain block @Lana_Nusseibeh? If not why not?
Welcoming to see Dr Mazen Al-Rantisi released, but many like gynaecologist, Dr Dima Barakat, and indeed Dr Hussam Abu Safiya are among more than 600 doctors being held in detention across Palestine: map.org.uk/latest/news/no-he…
I have raised the imprisonment of Dr Mazen Al Rantisi in Parliament and on every platform I could and so I am
pleased he has been released but his physical condition evidences his mistreatment at the hands of the IDF. We now need to secure the release of Dr Hussam Abu Safiya who has been imprisoned also by the Israelis and whose life is under threat. share.google/fkDLgawMSUZXMiq…

Britain insists it wants "an end to support from all external backers" to the mass atrocities in Sudan, but it doesn't mention that its ally, the United Arab Emirates, has been sending arms and mercenaries to the genocidal Rapid Support Forces there. teapawt.net/Ed_Miliband/status/211…

£1.012 billion taken from Manchester United, stolen directly from the club, for the Glazer debt saddled on the club. £170 million paid out in dividends.
Around £42m paid every year since the 2005 Glazer leveraged buyout - a process that is now illegal - to service their debt.

This should have never happened.

To put it bluntly amidst all the brouhaha:
1. Israel is not a Jewish state.
2. Jews are not a national or political entity.
3. Zionism is not “a part” of or “inherent” in Judaism; it’s the complete negation of our faith.
4. Eretz Yisrael, the “Land of Israel,” does not translate as the “State of Israel.”
The basic concepts are being lost amongst the sea of misinformation propagated by an army of Zionist accounts.
But it will prevail. Truth always does.

Only 22 of Gaza's 34 oxygen stations are no longer working because Israel is still blocking the spare parts for maintenance due to "dual use" restrictions. Meanwhile it's common right now for two babies to be on incubators. Forget the political meltdown over the last few days
