Aaaaaaand we're live!

A persistent, infinite, point-and-click adventure.
Every picture is a fork. Click something in it, decide what happens, and the world grows in that direction.

This dude Charlie who built a $30K/month micro-SaaS alongside his full-time job says: he gave himself two weeks to build a Linktree alternative because the pages on it just don't look that good...
"I decided to give myself two weeks to build a Linktree alternative. That's how Links started."
"I was like, oh, you know, it's cool that this exists, but like the pages don't look very good."
Did a little interview with @gus_tiffer for @starter_story 🤘
I had a good time recording it, hope y’all will enjoy listening!

I built a bar in your browser 🍸

Pick from a list of classic cocktails, build your own or let AI make one for you, then share your favorites!
The glass, the liquids and the ice are all ray-traced in real time in the browser (thx opus 😘)
This was heavily inspired by @ann_nnng 's awesome cocktail experiment ❤️🍸💜🍹

New portfolio is live (!!) 15 years in design in New York, compressed into 8 chapters. Less a collection of case studies, more a career told as lived experience.
You're looking at the eight things that shaped the space between who I am and what I like, make, and care about. They just happen to be represented with gummies instead of company logos.
Honestly, this site is just an excuse to share a collection of personal stories because I enjoy writing. Each chapter breaks down into what I expected, what I found, what followed (The Premise, The Reality, The Plot).
It's equal parts reflection, advice, and a look at some things built along the way.
Liinks.co was founded 6 years ago, so I can't apply for the @AnthropicAI startup program 👴🏻
But it looks pretty cool! claude.com/programs/startups
LFG!!!

The slopification of IP based children's books needs to be studied
Newer stuff (right, 2023) is often lifted directly from TV shows, and so the books are nonsensical and the artwork is horrible.
Older stuff (left, 2015) holds up way better

a few rough edges still need some sanding, but love how this interaction for a little side project turned out

Opus 5.5 is crazy good at motion design
it cooked up this lil reel for liinks.co with basically zero direction
prompt was something like "make a cool instagram ad for liinks"
I crunched the numbers and hitting $35K by November 4 would mean I need to 3x trials starting tomorrow, which, short of an act of god, is pretty much impossible 😅
So I'm dropping the November 4 deadline, but still committing to hit $35K before getting my Wow:Forever on 💪
I'm setting myself a goal of hitting $35K MRR with liinks.co by November 4 ⚔️
I'm gonna lock tf in. I'll post updates, but avoid getting distracted with side projects until then.
If I hit my goal, I'll take my foot off the gas and play some WoW.
Wish me luck!
