My take on the #southampton debacle. Presumably all teams were aware of the rules around "spying". Soton have gone ahead and breached them on 3 occasions. The only motive has to be to try and gain knowledge of the opposition, aka an advantage, no matter how small.

So for me, to keep them in the final not an option - as potentially they achieve promotion ie a reward. The EFL have to be seen to put out a strong message to prevent further recurrences. The only people I feel sorry for in all of this are the fans themselves.
