Superfund sites are more likely to be located in communities where most residents aren’t white. But @chej found that most of the sites the Trump administration targeted for expedited cleanup were in majority white neighborhoods. sites. texasobserver.org/superfund-…

In 1978, 27-year-old Lois Gibbs @LoisGibbsCHEJ (USA, 1990) discovered her child was attending an elementary school next to a 21,000-ton chemical dump in #NiagaraFalls. Her advocacy resulted in the relocation of over 800 families and creation of the #superfund program. @chej #tbt

@CHEJ @LoisGibbsCHEJ has the no-permanent-friends-no-permanent-enemies attitude that it takes to get things done. The staying power of the activists at each Superfund site is an inspiration. politi.co/3i2dhoy via @politico

Finally watched @DarkWatersMovie & got riled up by @MarkRuffalo’s portrayal of @RobertBilott and the corruption surrounding #PFAS research/regulation. It’s inspiring to see how far the research has come even since I started creating #pfos and #pfoa fact sheets for @chej in 2015!
