BN120: In “BN113 tweet” of 03/11/2023, we explained that Laser companies were guilty by offering UNREALISTIC & DANGEROUS presets. Now, they recognize it (28 complaints reported between 2021 & 2023). But WHY DON'T THEY Recall all SYSTEMS to UPGRADE them with new SAFE presets🤔🤔🤔

A dirty job that somebody has to do! Complete massive #staghornstone in functional #solitarykidney (Fig.1) with progressive worsening of renal functions (creatinine 2,7). … in other words this is a sentence to hemodialysis. Some aggressiveness is needed. Some tricks: 1) place all wires for potential accesses as first step (4 in this case Fig. 2-3) 2) dilate progressively other tracts only if needed (3 out 4 in this case Fig 4) 3) be as quick as possible. Regardless the surgical injury, Im sure that this kidney will benefit from what myself and my entire team did today. Patient is doing well already with some active diuresis! #ETCE

Finally today we had the pleasure to start our experience with #robotic #RIRS with #ILY robot Under the supervision of mister @Housbow docking of the system easy &quick! really intriguing and promising technology with huge margin of improvement! Key point is to have a highly effective dusting laser to avoid basketing: this was the case today with our pulsed #thuliumyag #THULIO by @DornierMedTech no need at all for basketing! thanks to my team for the effort! #ETCE – at Milan, Lombardy
