Чому цивільні зараз стороняться військових? І чому військовим важко знаходитися не в компанії своїх побратимів?
Станіслав Старостенко, якого більшість знає, як героя мему, поділився з нами своїми роздумами. Про це — у відео

Kyiv residents share photos and videos on social media showing their freezing apartments and how they are trying to keep warm.
I don't often share my own emotions here. I mostly stick to facts and reason. But I'm actually a very emotional person.
The situation in Kyiv with freezing people in cold homes that are left without electricity, heating and water during the cold winter after deliberate Russian attacks is simply terrible.
The most vulnerable, the weakest, the old, the sick, the tiny kids and their parents - these suffer the most. They have nowhere to go or they simply can't move. A lot of people have nothing apart from those cold walls.
Their suffering doesn't help Russia reach any military goals.
Ukraine will not fall, the frontline will not collapse. Ukraine is still a large and strong country. What Russia does and what it is able to do is cause great suffering to average Ukrainians. Russia puts people on the brink of survival, makes people's lives unbearable.
This is a tragedy of a huge scale and people who are surviving through this want to understand what this is all for.
In almost four years of the full-scale war Ukraine demonstrates incredible resilience and bravery. An exhausted Ukraine is a direct threat to European security. A strong Ukraine means a protected Europe.
Ukraine needs air defense and security guarantees.

Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights defender Oleksandra Matviichuk @avalaina:
"We have 1,6 million children under Russian occupation. Their identities are being erased. They are militarized starting from kindergarten. Their parents are forced to send their children to camps where they wear military uniforms, line up, live in barracks, and are taught how to use weapons.
Russia is preparing the new generation of Putin's soldiers from these 1,6 million Ukrainian children because at the age of 14, they will receive the Russian passport. At the age of 18, they will be forcibly recruited to the Russian army, which means that they will go to fight and to die in any country that Russia sends them to fight and to die.
Because Russia is an empire, and an empire has a center but has no borders. An empire always tries to expand. And that is why when we speak about deported children, children under Russian occupation, it's not just a human rights problem. It's a security problem."
ICC arrest warrants for Putin and five other Russians accused of war crimes in Ukraine will stay in place even if Ukraine peace talks succeed, ICC prosecutors said.
In an interview with Reuters, deputy prosecutors Mame Mandiaye Niang and Nazhat Shameem Khan said a United Nations Security Council resolution would be required to suspend court-issued warrants.
"If there is a peace deal which then leads the Security Council to ask us to defer an investigation, then that's a matter - that's a political process for the Security Council. But as far as we're concerned...at the end of the day, it does not stop the way that justice is delivered," Deputy Prosecutor Khan said, citing the court's founding Rome Statute.
Deputy Prosecutor Niang added that apart from the bracket mentioned in respect of the Security Council route, "we are obligated to observe our statute, which does not give weight to some of those political arrangements."

A new mural has appeared in Ternopil, dedicated to children killed in Russia’s attack.
The artwork, showing a child shielding her toys from a Russian missile, was created by artist Andriy Yermolenko. He described it as “a cry for help to the global community.”
“The girl protecting her toys — that’s all she has. This is my cry for help. As an artist, I can speak about it through my work.”
On November 19, six children were killed in the Russian strike on Ternopil.

Ternopil. A father rocks the coffin of his child before the burial. Anyone who tries to force Ukrainians into capitulation is helping the killers of children. This is absolute evil.

Russia killed 33 people, including six children, by a missile strike on Ternopil on November 19.
94 more people were injured, 18 of them children. Six people remain missing.
Ukrainian rescuers worked for four days at two locations, managing to save 46 people, including seven children. They had to sort through a large part of the rubble by hand.
During the operation, rescuers also found two cats and a parrot alive - the animals were returned to their owners.
The work was extremely difficult: debris, smoke, destroyed floors, and dangerous concrete structures. Some operations had to be carried out manually at the level of the 5th-6th floors. More than 1,200 tons of rubble were removed.
Deepest condolences to all victims of this horrible Russian crime.

Last night, search and rescue operations in Ternopil at the site where a missile struck a residential building were completed. Rescuers worked nonstop for four days. As a result of this Russian crime, 33 people were killed, including 6 children. My condolences to the families and loved ones. Sadly, 6 people are still considered missing. I thank all the services involved in responding to the aftermath of this strike and working to save our people.
Emergency work is ongoing in Dnipro at the site where a Russian drone struck near a residential building. Fourteen people were injured in the attack, including a child. I thank all of our services that responded swiftly to extinguish the fire and are providing assistance on the ground. In Nikopol, the Russians struck with an FPV drone, injuring two children and a woman. Once again, there were strikes on residential and civilian infrastructure, as well as on energy facilities in various regions of our country during the night.
Throughout the entire week, these attacks continued unabated – more than 1,050 attack drones, nearly 1,000 glide bombs, and over 60 missiles of various types were used.
Already today, our advisors will be working in Switzerland with representatives of the United States, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. But in parallel with the diplomatic track, we must do everything to strengthen our defense against such wicked Russian attacks. It is extremely important to speed up the implementation of all our agreements with partners regarding air defense systems and missiles for them. I thank everyone who helps protect lives. I thank everyone who works for peace.

Millions of Ukrainians were starved to death by the Soviet regime in less than a year – during the 1932–1933 Holodomor. It was a genocide to destroy the Ukrainian nation.
On the fourth Saturday of November, Ukraine marks the National Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holodomor and other artificial famines deliberately created by the Soviet regime – including those of 1921–1923 and 1946–1947.
Today, Russia continues its genocidal policy against Ukraine and commits crimes that endanger global food security.
This evil repeats because it went unpunished in the past. We call on the world to recognise Holodomor as a genocide, and to hold Russia accountable for its war crimes.
