Society’s obsession with forgiveness is one of the biggest contributors to abuse of all forms. Somehow the victim is gaslit into forgiving someone who wronged them but the same energy is never had for the actual abuser/perpetrator.

sometimes I have to remind myself that there is someone out there for which wanting me and being with me is as natural as wanting a meal or a drink of water...& I don't need to entertain a love that comes with excuses and wavering and silly complications.

A headmaster’s predatory behavior has left 18 (known) victims in its wake, but we are calling it “a weakness.”
We are failing these kids, and it’s gut-wrenching.

While we’re on the matter, children are NOT in school to serve housemasters and housemistresses.
Stop making children cook for you, clean your homes, wash your clothes, fetch water and perform other personal chores that have absolutely nothing to do with their education.
They are students, not your domestic workers!
And please, spare me the “we did it in our time” argument.
Just because you endured something doesn’t mean another generation should have to.
Some traditions deserve to end with us.
Children go to school to learn, not to serve the very adults who have been entrusted with their care.

If you don’t have anything to post, just tweet the flyer. It’s a small way to show your support for these little girls.💗
I’m here to repost and like any flyer I come across. Let’s try to use the same hashtag so we can make it trend easily.
