Trying to attract women with a wide spray of meaningless casts hoping for eventual reciprocation misunderstands where women's interests lie. Attention offered toward women is plentiful, cheap, and mostly meaningless to her unless that woman has curiosity in YOU romantically. (My filtered DMs are full of guys talking to themselves/at me, or trying to find an excuse to have a private conversation with me instead of commenting on a thread.) Attention is often intended as a compliment to us, but it's just a signal. In addition, signals that clearly communicate the desire of an end - rather than interest in the means to an eventual end - are very low quality. Any woman who has been approached by a guy whose main goal of just getting sexual access to her is all but written on his forehead knows this. Contrast with the guy who is genuinely interested in the interaction, is aware of what he has to offer (and can draw from it bc he is conscious of her as a unique human being with her own interests), and comes from a place of curiosity in her and presence in the connection being created itself. When you are focused on getting, you give off an energy that tells someone, "This person is ingenuine, and only sees what you can give them." This is often apparent even from behind a screen, too. This is why self-work and self-awareness is more often rewarded in the long term than any "polite" attempts to force connection.
