It'll likely undergo some changes and additions as we get closer to publishing, but excited to have a placeholder for the time being 😊

I can't believe this but I made the finalist lists for the @cbcbooks nonfiction contest. I'm --- stunned, shocked, absolutely ridden with anxiety? How do you process something so huge? I'm going to go lie down with my cat for a while.
A short story collection that proves brevity does not lack empathy, grit, or substance. Congrats @WriterAceBaker on releasing a stellar piece of art into the world!

Ace & I had a great conversation earlier this week about his upcoming collection #HowToMakeAKillingJar. It will be rolling out in video & podcast form before too long. We covered so much good stuff. Don't miss it! @WriterAceBaker

Writing a book for the first time is such an exciting endeavor. I absolutely love working w/ debut authors!
That said, over the years, I’ve compiled a list of mistakes I often see new writers make. Here are 5 to keep in mind as you draft your first manuscript (an #amwriting 🧵):

Matthew Perry is not a bad writer; in fact, I think he’s quite brilliant, bringing a poignancy and unapologetic grit to his storytelling. The problem isn’t Matthew. The problem is the editing. chickenhousepress.ca/busines…
