You spent almost six minutes discussing morals, values and the psychological consequences of societal dysfunction, and I must say, the original argument was quite compelling. However, watching you gradually turn what was supposed to be a conversation about the collective decay of our values into a political campaign for Peter Obi was rather disappointing. My question is, at what point did a conversation about rebuilding societal values become an argument for endorsing a particular politician?
Please listen to this. It is very mind opening.

Replying to @JosephOTegbe
@JosephOTegbe, what I find most frustrating about politics and politicians is their tendency to see so many things going wrong and yet choose to remain silent, simply to protect political interests and save face. It brings me to a fundamental question: Do you genuinely want a better country, or are you more interested in keeping your party in power for selfish political reasons? For the past couple of weeks, electricity supply across the country has been appalling, yet you have the temerity to remain silent. Do you honestly think that keeping quiet about these failures does @officialABAT any good? Far from it. In fact, it does more harm than good. It is increasingly difficult to see how Nigeria can make meaningful progress when those who should hold their own government accountable would rather prioritise party loyalty over national interest. @STinubu @Omojuwa, please, for once, put the country above partisan politics and speak up. Holding your government accountable does not make you a traitor; it makes you a responsible citizen. And I’m saying this as an APC supporter, just like you.

More than 65% of those that attended the campaign in Calaba are youths. And i sincerely think this is why this is happening. Everyone’s eyes has opened

Imagine an imam singing Atiku or Tinubu campaign song in a mosque. Useless tribal and religious bigots who bring shame to Christianity and the body of Christ.

South-Easterners who believe that Peter Obi is a transformative leader, should've been in Anambra State enjoying the development of the state (where Obi ruled), instead of travelling across regions in search of better opportunities.

Don’t let hypocrites and liars gaslight you! The longest recorded doctors’ strike in human history took place in Anambra State during the wicked regime of @PeterObi. The packaged fraud and his minions now tell you he will establish primary healthcare facilities in every ward, but during his eight years as governor, instead of building hospitals, he converted state funds into dollars and stashed them in banks where he held shares and financial interests. Never vote for wolves in sheep’s clothing! #SOWOREFORPRESIDENT

A woman that is financially incapable will most likely suffer disrespect in and out of marriage . Protect yourself, your dignity, you value, worth and respect Look around you, your society most likely despise you enough as it is, Give yourself options and opportunities to make a better choice and future if and when required. Lack of money makes you grossly vulnerable. Learn easy or Hard, choice all yours ultimately

Some people on this app have no principles, just favourites. They will condemn one person for something and defend another person for doing the exact same thing. It was never about right or wrong; it was always about who they support.

Obi is doing Nigerians a favour by contesting. If you can't make billboards for him then you are not ready.
I see Seyi Makinde’s billboards I see Bat’s billboards I see Atiku’s billboards But I don’t think I’ve seen PO’s boards along my daily route.

This is a very measured and well articulated response.
I watched an interview on #PoliticsToday* on @channelstv, anchored by @seunokin, in which the @OfficialAPCNg National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru (@DrSRJ), called me a “skit maker” and “comedian.” I am presenting here a photograph I took with Ajibola in 1998, when I led the Congress of Progressive Youths (COPY), and we were both in the trenches fighting against military dictatorship. What eventually happened to COPY offered an early indication of what Ajibola has become today, but that is a story for another day. His premise is that because Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT was declared "winner" by @inecnigeria in the deeply flawed 2023 presidential election, those of us who contested against him should somehow be ashamed of losing. Ajibola @DrSRJ came to the University of Lagos after he was expelled from the University of Ilorin in 1992 for student activism. I received him alongside Kunle Adegoke, popularly known as “K-Rad,” who is now a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). We provided them with an enabling environment to apply to re-enter the university, gain admission, and study Law at the University of Lagos @UnilagNigeria. Both eventually graduated with flying colours and went on to accomplish great things. The struggle for justice, democracy, freedom and the preservation of human dignity is neither skit-making nor comedy. Ajibola knows this because he was once part of that struggle and benefited from the solidarity of those who refused to surrender to military tyranny. It is unfortunate that he has become so carried away by the fleeting privileges of his current political position that he now ridicules the very struggle that helped shape his own future. But Ajibola should know better. Political appointments are temporary. Tinubu's regime will come and go, just like the military regimes we confronted in our youth. The principles we fought for in 1994 remain as relevant today as they were then. Our commitment to justice has endured for decades and will outlast his present political appointment. The struggle for freedom is not comedy. What is truly comical is watching yesterday's beneficiaries of resistance become today's defenders of the very oppression they once fought against. #RevolutionNow

When I celebrated Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti’s 100th birthday in May, I wrote, “100 years, and not a stain on his name.” Today, as the nation mourns his passing, I return to those words. To live so long, with so much responsibility, and retain the respect of generations is a remarkable achievement. We were fortunate to have him with us for a century. Still, saying farewell to an elder of his standing is painful. His life reminds us how much a good name matters, and the care we must take to preserve it. On behalf of my family, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Fasoranti family, Afenifere, and the Government and people of Ondo State. I hope his loved ones find comfort in the affection and respect with which Baba will be remembered across our country.

You did little to nothing during the Akwuzu SARS era where many people unfortunately lost their lives; You were a sitting governor then. And unless we want to kid ourselves, the Akwuzu SARS was worse than that of the EndSARS protests. People were k'lled and dvmped in a river. Tragic sight.
ENDSARS LEKKI TOLL GATE: NEVER FORGET OCTOBER 20, 2020 Today, October 20, 2026, marks the sixth anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, a painful reminder of the price Nigerian youths paid in their demand for a better country. On that fateful night, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were met with gunfire. Lives were lost, many were injured, and the nation was left with questions about justice, accountability, and the sanctity of human life. We must never forget. We must never normalise injustice. As we remember the victims, I reaffirm my belief that a New Nigeria is possible—a country where citizens are protected, not brutalised; where young people are heard, not silenced; and where government power is exercised with responsibility and respect for human rights. Nigeria must become a nation where no citizen is punished for demanding good governance and a better future. May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to build a Nigeria where this tragedy will never be repeated. A New Nigeria is POssible. A Nigeria where every life matters. -PO
