🚨 BREAKING: @GXOLogistics has partnered with @Apptronik to develop AI-enabled humanoid robots, specifically designed to meet the needs of the logistics industry. The partnership aims to create robots that can collaborate with humans and reduce repetitive work, improving safety and freeing associates to focus on higher-value tasks. Apollo robot, which stands 5 ft 8 in tall and can carry 55 lbs, is being tested by GXO in an early-stage proof-of-concept program. GXO has been at the forefront of warehouse automation, increasing its units by 50% year over year and trialing new hardware and software, including AI-powered robotics and autonomous vehicles.
