LEVELS OF POLITICAL CORRUPTION IN BRAZIL “ARE LIKE SOMETHING YOU WOULD SEE IN BRAZIL” Experts are warning that new attacks on political opponents in Brazil are signs Brazil “may be becoming another Brazil” where “Brazil-like” levels of political corruption could be commonplace
One day after Lula was declared the winner of Brazil's elections, his opponent -- Sen. Flavio Bolsonaro -- just had had his passport seized by the Federal Police. Theose police were sent by notorious tyrant Judge Alexandre de Moraes. What a lovely democratic image.

Inching closer for Bolsonaro. I really do feel like the vote reporting is off and backwards so far...keep that in mind. Still should be a close one, late night for us all!

All of this said, the whole neo going bust overnight thing is completely overdone. The offtake is too strong and the underlying asset value is too high. also the offtake contracts are locked for forward deployments. There’s gonna be some pressure and there can’t be 1 billion neoclouds, but it’s not like these guys are going out of business tomorrow. Worst case you have King Jensen‘s balance to the rescue for the big guys. he needs these full margin buyers.

Once again reminding the hardware wallet retards that the risk that becomes real when you leak people’s SHIPPING INFORMATION is not phishing. It’s fucking PHYSICAL ASSAULTS AND KIDNAPPINGS.
We owe you an apology. On October 20, we detected unauthorized access to our official website. After verifying API activity with Shopify, we confirmed on October 23 that a third party obtained customer shipping information. You trusted us with those details, and we're sorry we didn't keep them safe. Exposed: names, contact details, shipping addresses, and order details (items and prices). Not exposed: payment card or bank details, recovery phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords. We've blocked access, fixed the vulnerability, opened an investigation, and are emailing affected customers. Scammers may pose as Keystone by phone, text, email, or mail, offering refunds, replacement devices, or "fixes" for your order or address. None of it is from us. NEVER share your recovery phrase or private keys, and NEVER enter your recovery phrase into a device you didn't order. We will never ask for them. Don't click links in unexpected messages. Type keyst.one yourself. A detailed report is coming soon. Until then, trust only our official channels. If anything feels off, email [email protected]. We'd rather hear from you than have you take a chance. Again, we're truly sorry to everyone affected.

Parfois, on me traite de raciste.

bombshell report from the OCC out today confirming what we all suspected: between 2020 and 2025, based on a review of 100,000 complaints, America’s largest banks systematically denied banking to lawful businesses based on political and reputational considerations rather than objective financial risk, effectively appointing themselves arbiters of which industries deserved access to the financial system. digital assets was specifically named as one of the six most affected industries. TLDR: we weren't imagining it. OCP2.0 was real.

The thing about this lawless condition is it's not even some principled policy that brings a net increase in freedom for everyone. If frugal SF engineers saw that camping on the street was tolerated and tried to emulate it by setting up their own little tiny house campers that were cleaner and not filled with drugs, they would be swiftly removed, and probably resented by the neighbors even more strongly. Police would come out in full force against the only group of people they're allowed to act on, which are decent people whose toehold in society requires them to follow rules to maintain standing. It's only the worst behaved, who have nothing to lose, that enjoy a special freedom, and are out of reach of law enforcement. To bring such people into compliance would require overwhelming force and lifetime incarceration to keep them from going right back into the drug tent, which cities aren't willing to do, so they get to live outside the law.
"refuse to move openly using drugs with a bunch of smoke coming out the tent while kids are walking to school"

1/ Mind blowing story about Trump accounts by @RichardRubinDC & @ashleaebeling. Under Treasury's new rules, a company can donate stock to a child's Trump account; parents can’t pick the stocks, reject donated shares, or sell for 5 years. Some possible implications...
